Arsenault Dermatology is proud to welcome Dr. Sonya Zarkhin to our team. Dr. Zarkhin's boundless energy and enthusiasm for delivering an exceptional patient experience make her the perfect addition to our already stellar clinical team.
Dr. Zarkhin attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where she earned her Bachelors degree. She then completed her medical degree at the renown Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis. Upon graduation with high honors, Dr. Zarkhin attained the coveted individual dermatology residency position at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York where she served as Chief Resident. This remarkable opportunity allowed Dr. Zarkhin to train one-on-one with some of the country's top dermatology experts.
During her intensive training in New York, Dr. Zarkhin's developed mastery in dermoscopy and primary prevention. Her speciality is the early detection of skin cancers. Dr. Zarkhin also received advanced surgical training by an eminent facial plastic surgeon, learning skills and techniques which provide her patients exceptional cosmetic outcomes.
