Since the biopsy only takes a sample to confirm the diagnosis, it is our best recommendation this area be fully treated with a simple procedure called ED&C to remove any remaining abnormal cells.

Step 2 - Continue Your Wound Care from the Biopsy
Keeping the biopsy site clean prevents infection. If there are signs of active infection at your ED&C appointment, you will be asked to reschedule.
Step 3 - Maintain Your Current Medications
ED&C is a simple procedure that does not require patients to either stop or change their current medication regimen.
